Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase

There are those for whom the act of driving itself is a distraction. Some people need more space to think, more space to work and more space to relax. It is with these discerning travellers in mind that Bentley’s designers and engineers created a new pinnacle in Bentley luxury: the mulsanne_extended_wheelbase Extended Wheelbase.

Offering an extra 250 mm of legroom for rear seat passengers, the mulsanne_extended_wheelbase Extended Wheelbase is an incredible car in which to travel. Light floods into the rear cabin, courtesy of an expansive glass sunroof. Should the glare become too much, the Alcantara sunblind can be closed at the touch of a button located in the veneered rear console. Airline-style reclining seats can be commissioned, giving travellers in the back the chance to relax as they might on a private jet. This is the mulsanne_extended_wheelbase Extended Wheelbase: the ultimate combination of speed and exquisite luxury.

Exterior

A wide front grille sits in front of the familiar Bentley matrix, notable for its stainless steel vertical vanes, each one angled outwards from the centre. Matching stainless steel Flying ‘B’ wing vents can be found behind each front wheel arch, while the rear of the car is adorned with similarly finished tailpipes. A retractable Flying ‘B’ radiator mascot can be commissioned as an option, to complete the picture. Sharper, sweeping lines characterise the fenders, the bonnet and the boot, with bumpers now emerging seamlessly from the bodyshell. The powerline, a Bentley hallmark since the 1950s, still runs down the side of the body, lending a sense of power and performance to its sleek, sophisticated lines. But on this car, its route along the rear fender has been subtly extended, ensuring that the car’s extra length appears natural.

Engineering

The performance of the mulsanne_extended_wheelbase Extended Wheelbase represents a fine balance of luxury and power. The same 6¾ litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that enables it to glide through the city in near-silence can also propel it from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds (0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds).

Interior

In the comfort of the exquisite rear cabin of the mulsanne_extended_wheelbase Extended Wheelbase, passengers can experience a completely new infotainment system with updated telephony and wireless networking features. With a suite of cutting edge technology options, the cabin can be considered a true home from home. No car offers greater potential for personalisation than the Bentley mulsanne_extended_wheelbase. In fact, at the current rate of production, Bentley could build them for 100,000 years without ever making two the same. With the introduction of the mulsanne_extended_wheelbase Extended Wheelbase, there are now even more opportunities to create a truly unique car.

If a person writes a check without sufficient funds in an associated account to cover it, the check will bounce, or be returned for insufficient funds. Each state has laws regulating how merchants may respond to bounced checks. In Connecticut, the merchant may file a civil suit and press criminal charges if the check writer does not reimburse him for a bounced check after the merchant has sent several notices regarding the matter.

Posted Notice Requirement

Merchants and other business owners who accept checks must post a notice where customers are likely to see it warning them of the potential consequences of writing bad checks. The notice must include the civil penalties that bad check writers may face, the appropriate Connecticut statute number and an advisory that the check writer may also face criminal penalties

Civil and Criminal Penalties

As of 2010, civil courts may require the check writer to reimburse the merchant for the value of the check plus pay up to $750 if he has no back account or $400 if the check is returned for insufficient funds. If the merchant chooses to press criminal charges, the bad check writer may face a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. Writing a bad check is a felony charge if the check was for more than $1,000 and a misdemeanor if written for a lesser amount.

Required Written Notices

If a check bounces, the merchant must send the check writer a letter by certified mail at the check writer's last known address or place of business. Usually this letter is sent to the address on the writer's check. The letter must inform the writer that the check was returned ask him to reimburse the merchant for the amount of the check and inform him of the potential criminal or civil penalties if he fails to do so. If the check writers does not respond to the letter within 15 days of receipt, the merchant must send a second letter. This letter must inform the check writer that he has 30 days to reimburse the merchant before the merchant takes legal action against him. Both letters must be written in both English and Spanish.
