With production limited to just 799 cars, the F12tdf is an incredibly special Ferrari designed for the track. Power is increased to 770 bhp from the F12 Berlinetta's 730 bhp, and the result is a 0-60 mph time of just 2.9 seconds and a top speed in excess of 210 mph. The key to the F12tdf's crazy performance is not its powerful engine, but rather its attention to weight saving. Liberal use of carbon fiber and other weight saving measures means the F12tdf is nearly 250 lbs lighter than the F12 Berlinetta. With active aerodynamics developed from LaFerrari, the F12tdf produces over 500 lbs of downforce at 124 mph. F12tdf's aerodynamics are so sophisticated that the car does not require an obtrusive rear wing. The downforce means the F12tdf grips extremely well around the track and will lap Ferrari's Fiorano test track just 1.3 seconds slower than LaFerrari hypercar. F12tdf also features a cutting-edge rear-wheel steering system that allows the car to rotate better around corners and complements the grip produced by the active aero. The F12tdf is sure to be a future classic for Ferrari given its limited production run, its extreme track capabilities, and radical new innovations in performance.
