The optional active roll control system, Bentley Dynamic Ride, ensures maximum, comfort, control and handling can be enjoyed at all times. Rapid acceleration and quick gearshifts are provided by an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. This seamless shifting is achieved by pre-selecting the next gear before leaving the current selection. Maximum speed can be reached in sixth gear, with the seventh and eighth gears reserved for reduced fuel consumption when cruising – ideal for exploring the city or touring the roads that take you further afield.

Every seat in the new Flying Spur V8 puts in-car technology in your hands via a simple tap of a screen. The 12.3″ high definition touchscreen allows those in the front seats to access not only maps and driver assistance tools, but to personalise their cabin environment too. Meanwhile, those in the rear have access to the same controls via the Touch Screen Remote. With these screens to hand, you can adjust the heating, ventilation, seats and mood lighting, open and close the sunroof and blinds, reveal or conceal the Flying B mascot, and access the entertainment and navigation systems. For those in the front of the cabin, the optional Bentley Rotating Display allows you to select a fascia of your choosing from three options: the main 12.3” touchscreen, a set of three analogue gauges, or a book-matched veneer.
